BUYING GUIDE
How to choose replacement car clips
Start with the original fastener
Remove one undamaged clip and compare its head diameter, stem length and mounting-hole size. Similar-looking retainers can use different dimensions, so measurements are usually more reliable than appearance alone.
Check the OEM reference
If the original part number is available, use the OEM filter to narrow the catalog. Then confirm the listed applications and dimensions on the product page before ordering.
Select a practical quantity
Smaller packs suit a single repair, while larger packs are useful for body shops, restorations and keeping common retainers on hand. Assortment kits cover several sizes but still require dimension checks.
Where can I find an OEM number?
It may be molded into the fastener, shown in a vehicle parts diagram or listed by a dealer. When no OEM number is available, match the mounting hole and clip dimensions.
Does a vehicle-make match guarantee fitment?
No. Make filtering is a starting point. Model year, trim, installation position and original fastener dimensions should also be checked.
